I am Dhruv Sharma

Dhruv Sharma is a Research Assistant in the Computer Vision and Robotics Group at the University of Alberta. He was awarded a master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering Control Systems specialization. An experienced Industrial Controls and Automation engineer, he is passionate about Robotics, IIOT, and advanced Industry 4.0 technologies. His recent research in Computing Science focuses on Robot Learning from Human Demonstrations. Using control theory to better utilize hardware-software interaction is what drives him to work on new ideas. He hopes to create and work on automation technologies that will not only make life easier for people but also inspire next-generation engineers.
